POSITION: Assistant Professor of Mathematics - tenure-eligible
QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in mathematics or applied mathematics completed by September 1, 2010. Excellence in teaching is our first priority. Some preference may be given to candidates with the ability to teach courses in analysis or upper level statistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Full-time teaching load of six courses per year (primarily calculus and a variety of upper-division mathematics courses). Continued scholarly activity, supervision of undergraduate research, and student advising. Participation in the work of a well-respected, collegial department.
